Reggae for Food 8, featuring Carlos Jones and the P.L.U.S. Band, Umojah Nation and Jah Messengers will
be celebrated on Friday, October 7 th with sweet reggae music from 8:00 to 1:00. The beloved annual
event returns to Music Box Supper Club this year, 1148 Main Avenue, West Bank of the Flats, Cleveland
44113. Advance price tickets are only $20 at www.musicboxcle.com and at the Music Box box office.
Admission is $25 on the day of the show.
All proceeds from the admission price benefit All Faiths Pantry, a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization.
A partnering agency of the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, All Faiths Pantry, an award winning
independent non-profit, is known as the model for best practices in serving local low income, mobility
challenged and older adults suffering from food insecurity. Every month All Faiths Pantry’s many
volunteers deliver groceries directly to the homes of hundreds of clients, at no cost to the grateful
recipients, our most vulnerable and deserving neighbors. All Faiths Pantry has delivered over a million
and a half pounds of pantry items since it began, ten years ago. In 2016 All Faiths Pantry is on track to
surpass fifty thousand home deliveries since the program’s humble beginnings in 2006. All Faiths Pantry
has also inspired several very diverse local community partners to start independent anti-hunger
programs of their own. Reggae for Food is All Faiths Pantry’s biggest annual fundraiser and is an
important part of the organization’s frugal annual budget. Door prizes, a fifty/fifty raffle, as well as the
Music Box’s delicious food and drinks will make this another party to remember.
