This year’s Reggae on the River series at the beautiful new Crop On-Air Studio on the Flats East Bank continues on every Sunday afternoon from 4 – 8 p.m through August. Music lovers are being treated to a variety of regional reggae groups, each with a different style and spin on the reggae sound. The newly developed Flats East Bank location creates a great atmosphere on the Cuyahoga River for a casual day of great entertainment. Crop On Air can either present the show to an outside crowd or an inside crowd depending on the weather, where other venues would have to cancel if the weather is inclement.
The month of July has seen groups from Rochester, NY (Mosaic Foundation), Erie, Pa. (One World Tribe), Cleveland (Jah Messengers) and Pittsburgh, Pa. (The Flow Band). The remaining schedule looks like this:
July 31 – Milton Blake & JR Blessing with the River Nile Band
Aug 7 – Umojah Nation
Aug 14 – Carlos Jones & the PLUS Band
Aug 21 – Outlaws I&I
Aug 28 – The Ark Band
Make sure to get one of these dates on your calendar and check out the great new live music venue in the Flats East Bank!
